A fun weekend was spent cooking and learning about kitchen safety,hygiene and healthy eating. The cubs cooked pizzas, shepherds pie and pancakes as well as making fruit flans and rice krispie cakes. They all had the opportunity to prepare the foods and do the washing up so get them involved at home particuarly with the latter.
There are a few budding chefs amoungst the group so keep an eye out in the future.
A fun game of manhunt concluded the day with the cubs spending 10 minutes looking for a non existent cub! All the cubs snuggled into their sleeping bags and slept well although some were kept awake by Baggy’s snoring! He of course denies this.
There were many cubs spending their first night away with us and all involved have earnt badges, as long as bedrooms have been kept tidy!!
Well done to all who took part, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
