On Saturday, representatives of 14th Broadstairs Beaver Colony and Cub Pack planted poppies in Pierremont Park, Broadstairs in partnership with Broadstairs Town Team.
This year is the Centenary of WWI and the Royal British Legion have a campaign to cover the UK in poppies in remembrance.
14th Broadstairs Scout Group are proud to support this initiative and were very pleased to have been asked by the Town Team to give something back to the Community.
Thanks to the Broadstairs Town Team for providing the seeds.
We shall watch with anticipation the seedlings grow.
